ONE STEP AT A TIME.
Feet First Worldwide was founded in 2003 and became a registered UK charity in 2004. We work in partnership with the Malawi Ministry of Health and 'Malawi Against Physical Disabilities', operating in Government hospitals throughout the country.
We arrange clinics and prioritise the most urgent cases - often children with congenital orthopaedic deformities. The most common of these is Club Foot.
The first major project in 2004 provided training for clinical workers dealing with cases of club foot. As a result it is hoped that every Malawian child born with this congenital deformity will have the opportunity to have it corrected during the first year of life.
Our goal is to be able to cover central and northern Malawi with 4 clinics. For that we need your help.
